Nurturing Your Budding Artist at Home
Mini StudioSet up a mini art studio in a little corner of your home. Talk to your artist to make a list of what media they would most like to have for their creations. You can include washable watercolors, washable markers, colored pencils, scissors, glue stick, paper and scrap book paper. You could also include yarn for weaving or Model Magic for a clean version of modeling clay. Most importantly have fun together.

Mini GalleryHave a special space in your home for your budding artist to display their work. You can buy cheap frames at the Goodwill and paint them in fun colors to make your gallery, hang clip boards in a grid or buy colorful, strong magnets to display on the Fridge. However you choose to make your mini gallery, just make sure that you let them know that you are proud of their work and ask them about the story behind their work to fully appreciate their masterpiece.
